  2. Question #2: What is the colour of the barbershop’s wall outside and inside?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It is a bright yellowy mustard on the outside and pink on the inside. What a colorful barbershop! Here in the states, they are quite dull.

    2. WE HAVE OUR FIRST WINNER!

Thank you, Peggy. You and your granddaughter can explore my artofmili.ca galleries and archive galleries and pick whichever piece of art you like the most. No need to rush. In the archive gallery if you click on the plus sign in the upper right hand corner that will take you to more art pages. :-) You can also see the art prints available in my shop (shop.artofmili.ca). Or if you like the book's cover or a particular page from the book, I would be happy to print it out for you.

Note: I will make the Art Print fit the standard 8" x 10" (or 10" x 8") size, so that you can easily frame it in a frame of your choice. When you are ready, just message me on Facebook, and give me the details.

    3. That is lovely Mili Fay! What I would like more than anything is for you to give this beautiful gift to a women's shelter for the kids there. Somewhere near where you live would be great. Women who are abused typically have children who have seen far too much in their young lives and I would truly be happiest with something they can look at while their mothers regain their dignity and their lives. Would that be OK?

    4. Peggy, you have such a generous heart. Pick the artwork for your granddaughter and I will donate some of the books I thought to donate to the Christmas foundation to the women's shelter instead. :-)

    5. Oh Mili! That is so wonderful! I honestly think any picture with our little sweetie before the haircut would be her favorite if that's possible! That's what lifts her spirits and puts a glow in her heart! Thank you so much for donating to the women's shelter there. Those kids need so much positive reinforcement so they don't find themselves all grown up in the same situation.

  4. Question #4: What is an art-work book?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Since no one got the answer, I'll respond. :-)

An art-work book is a book that seamlessly combines the best features of traditional fine art, picture books, activity books, educational books, and it also has a fun online component.

    2. Thank you, Mili!

I'm sorry I didn't interact with your launch here more; I had to leave for an appointment...and completely forgot to come back afterward to see if I'd won. Oops.

If it's not too late, I love the fish biting the other fish's tale (not sure of the title). But I can't seem to figure out how to email you.

    3. You are welcome, Rachel. You can email me your address at mili.fay.art@gmail.com. I will be mailing the prints out sometime in mid January to avoid possible damage during holiday shipping. Thank you for engaging during the launch. :-) Happy Holidays!

P.S. "Riba Ribi Grize Rep" translates directly into "A fish is biting another fish's tail." It is a Serbian phrase that is supposed to teach children to pronounce their "Rs". The image was created for my future brother-in-law upon his getting his first job after graduation. He still has the original. :-D

  6. Question #6: Why are the eastern cougars pink?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, since there are no North American Animals that are pink you chose the eastern cougar to be pink because you wanted it SO!~
